North Kent Connect is a Christian organization committed to improving the lives of all people in northern Kent County by providing access to basic needs and promoting economic independence.
A Community Where Everyone Can Thrive.
We believe northern Kent County is stronger when neighbors care for one another. Sometimes that means having food on the table when money is tight. Sometimes it means help keeping the lights on, finding a job, learning a new skill, or having someone listen and help you find a way forward. And sometimes it means giving your time, sharing your resources, or simply welcoming a neighbor.
That’s the vision; not a slogan, what happens when a community decides help isn’t a handout you receive once; it’s a hand you eventually pass along.

Every neighbor who walks through our door already has it, before we’ve done a single thing for them.

The person we help today might be the one helping someone else in a few years. We build for that, not just for the moment in front of us.
Relationships outlast programs.
A case manager doesn’t disappear the day the program ends. The organization is still here, whenever you need a hand.
