Where are you located?
North Kent Connect is located on the northwest corner of Northland Drive and 12 Mile Road, next to Antor Travel. Click here to view an interactive map.
How can I contact someone at North Kent Connect?
You can call us at (616) 866-3478 anytime on Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. You can also contact us via email on our contact page or reach out to a specific staff member.
When can I drop off donations on the weekend?
You can drop off items on the south side of our building Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday donations are accepted from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We’re closed Sunday.
What kind of clothing do you take?
We take clothing in any condition, as long as it’s not wet, smoky or full of pet hair. Clothing deemed not suitable for our marketplace is sold for rags, with proceeds benefiting NKC.
Do you take working appliances?
Unfortunately we cannot accept these items.
Do you take TVs that work, or even flat screen TVs?
We do not take any TVs. It costs us $.25/pound (about $25 per TV set) to dispose of each TV set.
Do you take mattresses if they are clean and in good shape?
Unfortunately, we do not. Thank you for understanding.
How do I become a client?

What cities are included in your service area?
We serve Belmont, Cedar Springs, Comstock Park, Greenville, Gowen, Grattan, Kent City, Sand Lake, Sparta, and Rockford. Visit our Service Area page for a map of our service area.
How do I get a food referral?
If you are a current client and would like a referral during business hours, simply call our main line and ask for a food referral. After hours, call (616) 866-3478 ext. 344 and leave a message, including your full name and phone number.
Are you a government agency?
NKC is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, funded by individuals, businesses, churches and civic groups in our community.
Do you have counseling services?
We partner with Arbor Circle and Counselor Kelsey Dipirro is located on site at NKC.
